About Kaizen Brunch
Why we started, what we stand for, and what it means to be part of the community.

Our story
Meet the founder
Esther Damilola David is the founder of Kaizen Brunch, a women's community born from a question she kept coming back to: why are we all trying to figure out womanhood alone?
Drawing on her background across project management, communications, and health and wellbeing, Esther built the kind of community she wished existed, a space where women can ask the questions they might feel embarrassed to ask elsewhere, learn from experts and from one another, and leave with something practical to carry into their lives.

How it started
We're not given a manual for life
The more conversations Esther had with other women, the clearer it became: very few of us actually have it all figured out. We're not handed a manual for life, but what if we're all carrying different pages of it? One woman has learnt something about money that could change how another approaches her finances. Someone else has navigated a hard career decision, learnt to advocate for her health, built a business, walked through heartbreak, or simply learnt a lesson she wishes someone had shared with her sooner.
Perhaps the knowledge we're searching for already exists within the women around us. We just need somewhere to sit, talk and share it. That idea became Kaizen Brunch.
The name reflects that vision. Inspired by the Japanese philosophy of Kaizen, meaning continuous improvement, Kaizen Brunch isn't about having everything figured out. It's about recognising that becoming the woman you want to be happens gradually: through the conversations you have, the things you learn, and the small decisions you make along the way.
Our pillars
What we're built on
Wealth
One woman's lesson about money can change how another approaches her finances entirely. We believe financial confidence is a form of freedom, built through honest conversation, mentorship and the kind of practical knowledge that doesn't usually get shared until it's too late.
Womanhood
Relationships change, identities shift, and some of us are walking through heartbreak while others are celebrating a win. Womanhood looks different for every one of us, and that's the point. We celebrate the full range of it and show up for each other through all of it.
Wellness
Learning to advocate for your own health is its own kind of growth. It isn't sustainable without wellbeing, so we prioritise the physical, mental and emotional foundations that let us actually enjoy the lives we're building, not just survive them.
